Mr. Joseph Szilagyi is an associate specializing in wage and hour class and representative actions under California and federal law.

Prior to joining Aegis Law Firm, Mr. Szilagyi focused his legal practice in employment law, insurance litigation, and personal injury litigation. Here, Mr. Szilagyi gained experience in all facets of daily practice: from discovery, law and motion, to achieving a final resolution.

Mr. Szilagyi graduated with his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, California and has been practicing law since 2017 upon passing the California State Bar. In law school, Mr. Szilagyi externed with non-profit organizations which provided legal services in health and disability rights law and consumer protection. Mr. Szilagyi’s dedication to providing legal services to individuals with limited resources was twice recognized with the Wiley W. Manuel Certificate for Pro Bono Legal Services. Mr. Szilagyi was also a researcher for a well-established employment law firm, introducing him to the field of employment law.

Prior to law school, Mr. Szilagyi graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Fullerton double-majoring in Political Science and Print Journalism, and was awarded the J. William Maxwell Award.

When Mr. Szilagyi is out of the office, he enjoys relaxing with his fiancé, playing basketball, and going to concerts.
